CHAMPS Trade Shows Pivots Winter Show From Las Vegas To Orlando
Coming March 9th, 10th, and 11th 2020 to the Gaylord Palms
CHAMPS Trade Shows, the premiere trade show for the counter-culture industry, has officially announced their move from the Las Vegas Convention Center for their Winter Show to the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Kissimmee Florida on March 9th, 10th, and 11th from 11am to 6pm EST daily.
The decision came with heavy hearts all around as CHAMPS Trade Shows Winter Show is the landmark of each year for many in the counter-culture industry and everyone had been looking forward to it. When asked about the decision on social media CHAMPS President and CEO Jeff Hirschfeld said “Unfortunately Las Vegas could not guarantee either dates or our safety at this point in time… We would rather take a financial loss then a loss of any of our amazing family of friends.”
CHAMPS recently held CHAMPS Orlando at the Gaylord Resort and Convention Center in Kissimmee with great success for all who attended. Custom glass was a breakout star of the show with every single glass blower who had a table selling out of their wares completely. Delta-8 producers, hemp flower, and CBD edibles were also all big winners at the show as the popularity of legal alternative cannabinoids continuing to be a huge market driver.
CHAMPS Orlando also featured a bevvy of new protocols to help ensure the safety of all of the attendees on the show floor. Daily at-the-door temperature checks, social distancing, hand sanitizer, mandatory masks in all public areas of the resort, as well as one-way lanes on the show floor. CHAMPS intends to bring back all of those safety measures at scale for their March show with an expected massive increase in attendance.
CHAMPS has also negotiated a MASSIVE reductions in the costs for staying at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center by knocking the price to $159 a night plus resort fees for CHAMPS Trade Shows attendees. That’s almost HALF OFF their normal nightly rate of $350 plus resort fees.
