Tampa Florida Dispensary Launches DoorDash THC Hemp Products Delivery

Ybor City’s Chillum encourages customers to buy eligible hemp products

December 11.

That’s the day the federal ban on hemp-derived THC products takes full effect.

Last year, President Donald Trump signed a broad hemp ban into law, which prohibits any product with more than 0.4 milligrams of THC or more than 0.4 milligrams of any other cannabinoid with a similar effect to THC.

The federal ban doesn’t keep Florida businesses from selling hemp products. But it would heavily restrict them.

To be legal under the federal hemp ban, Florida products would need to be — at each stage — grown, manufactured and distributed solely within the state.

Ybor City’s Chillum Mushroom and Hemp Dispensary has launched delivery through DoorDash before the restrictions take place.

The new service allows eligible Tampa-area customers to order select hemp-derived Delta-9 THC products directly from Chillum.
