In Minnesota, Stillwater City Council Eyes One-Year Ban On New CBD Sales

There are currently two stores in Stillwater that sell CBD

 The Stillwater City Council is poised to vote Tuesday night on a proposal to ban new businesses from selling CBD products for a year.

City council members will consider an interim ordinance that would prohibit the city from accepting or considering applications for new CBD-related businesses for 12 months.

During that time, officials are expected to study how to best alter ordinances and the City Code to “regulate the sales, testing, manufacturing and distribution of cannabis and cannabidiol (CBD) for medical, recreational and other purposes,” according to the interim ordinance.
