CHAMPS Winter Show 2025: Celebrities, Strict Smoking Rules, And Cannabis Innovations With Snoop, Wiz, And Tommy Chong

The event was a highlight for industry professionals

This year’s CHAMPS Trade Show (Winter Show) in Las Vegas was a whirlwind of excitement, with notable figures, new innovations, and a more intense crackdown on smoking regulations. As always, the event was a highlight for industry professionals, cannabis enthusiasts, and streetwear fans alike. But while the energy was electric, the experience felt slightly different from years past, particularly when it came to one crucial detail: smoking.

Correspondent Shirley Ju filled us in at Honeysuckle Media. Ju was on the ground at CHAMPS and shared some fascinating insights about the atmosphere at this year’s show. According to Ju, the trade show’s organizers made it clear that the “no smoking” rule would be enforced more strictly than ever before. “CHAMPS was interesting this year. They cracked down more than ever on the ‘no smoking’ policy,” she explained. While cannabis culture is deeply embedded in trade shows like CHAMPS, the increased vigilance over smoking reflected the growing regulatory and safety measures within the cannabis industry.

Despite the restrictions, CHAMPS did not lack for star power or memorable moments. Celebrities were out in full force, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event. Some of the most recognizable names in entertainment made their presence known, making it one of the most buzz-worthy shows to date. Among the celebrity sightings were Snoop DoggWiz KhalifaMike Tyson, Waka Flocka Flame, Shordie Shordie, and Tommy Chong, to name just a few. Each of these legends brought their own flair to the event, captivating fans and industry insiders alike.

Tommy Chong, in particular, brought his signature humor and lightheartedness to the show. As part of the HHEMP booth, Chong entertained attendees with jokes and stories. Ju recalls, “Tommy Chong cracked jokes his entire time at the HHEMP booth. He said he was high off his own edibles,” which undoubtedly added to the laid-back yet fun vibe of the show. Known for his long-time association with cannabis culture, Chong’s presence at CHAMPS was a testament to his lasting impact on the industry.
