CHAMPS Chicago Day 1 Recap, Day 2 Opens
A look back at Day 1 of CHAMPS Chicago
The Midwest woke to some chilly temperatures, but hot deals, as CHAMPS Chicago opened for Day 2 of our first ever show in the Windy City. There has been a ton of buzz around the show floor regarding Illinois becoming the 11th state in the US to legalize adult use cannabis. Governor JB Pritzker signed the legalization bill this past June allowing Illinois residents the ability to possess 30 grams of cannabis (15 grams for out of state residents), however, this law doesn’t go into effect until January 1st of 2020.
In the interim, attendees of CHAMPS Chicago have been enjoying plenty of action happening on the show floor as buyers have been piling into the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center all day long in an effort to get the latest in counter-culture goods to prepare for the greenrush coming the first of the year.
As an added bonus, attendee’s are getting to enjoy the Glass Games in 2 separate categories. Several incredible entries already fighting for judges attention to take home the crown and get to advance onto the Masters Finals in Las Vegas Nevada this coming February.
