Employees said they’ve put in gates and laminated glass after break-ins in the past
Would-be thieves were thwarted in Ballard thanks to one security measure a business installed after the last break-in.
Witnesses in the area woke up to someone trying to ram a car through the front of One Stop Smoke on 24th Avenue NW overnight.
Employees told KOMO News this is the fourth time this has happened in the last few years, but this time the thieves weren’t able to get in thanks to the laminated glass they put in after the last time this happened.
