Ohio Crime Labs Able To Differentiate Hemp From Marijuana

An equipment upgrade at Ohio’s three state crime labs is allowing technicians to differentiate between industrial hemp and marijuana.
The Columbus Dispatch reports the new testing capacity to measure THC in cannabis samples that began two weeks ago isn’t likely to have much effect on how marijuana laws are enforced in Ohio.
While some cities have chosen to decriminalize possession of small amounts of marijuana, prosecutors elsewhere say they will continue to enforce available drug laws.
