CHAMPS Returns To Atlantic City Next Week!

NJ’s featured event opens at the Atlantic City Convention Center May 21st

In 2011, CHAMPS Trade Shows first ventured east to take its event to a venue other than Las Vegas. The choice was Atlantic City. And even though the cannabis industry has been a bit slower to take root in eastern U.S. states, CHAMPS has flourished in the “The World’s Famous Playground,” a moniker bestowed upon the resort city a century ago.

Jeff Hirschfeld, the CEO of CHAMPS and a native East Coaster, explains his choice of Atlantic City:” I grew up near the beach and have always loved the experience. In A.C, you’ve got beaches, a boardwalk and casinos. I want the people who attend CHAMPS to enjoy themselves as they do business.”

After a long, hard winter, spending a few days in Atlantic City may be exactly what you need to re-stoke your inner flame of entrepreneurship. When CHAMPS opens its doors (May 21-23), over 320 vendors will be on hand to showcase their wares. Because the name of CHAMPS is synonymous with functional glass art – i.e. smokeware – a wide variety of gorgeous glass pipes and rigs is always on display.

However, the variety of vendors at CHAMPS has widened over the years. At this event you’ll find CBD products, vape technology, financial services, health supplements and an array of companies that now support the retail cannabis industry. Recognizing this trend, CHAMPS recently introduced Dispensary+ to their trade shows, a sector of commerce where dispensary owners and managers can investigate the products and merchandise designed to streamline operations and promote a healthy bottom line.

As CHAMPS celebrates its twentieth anniversary of mounting its trade shows, it also happens to be the tenth year in which the CHAMPS Glass Games have been staged. The first event was held in 2010; then it was called the Las Vegas Flameoff. A decade later, the CHAMPS Glass Games has earned a reputation as the premier event of the glass community, wherein artists compete for cash prizes at the competitions that CHAMPS presents and sponsors at its trade shows throughout the year. If you’ve never witnessed the process of creating glass smokeware, it’s a mesmerizing spectacle not to be missed.
