3 Tall Pines Cannabis Urges Wisconsin To Codify Hemp Safety Standards Before Federal Rules Shift
“You’re going to force a lot of people back to the black market”
Craig Thrawn, owner of 3 Tall Pines Cannabis Company in Plymouth, Wisconsin, is calling on state lawmakers to establish clear, consistent regulations for hemp-derived products as pending federal changes threaten to reshape what can legally be sold in the state.
Thrawn, whose company also operates Pinebox Dispensary in Appleton, says his business already follows safety practices that have been discussed at the state Capitol, including ID checks and product testing. “That’s what we’ve been asking for is more regulation, more legislation, tell us what you want, and what you don’t want, so we can continue to grow in this industry,” Thrawn said.
